For All Teams:

  • This is a "Cook It and Bring It" competition - i.e., the chili must be prepared ahead and brought to the site to be served from an approved heating device, such as a crock-pot or other suitable warming station.
  • Each team will be responsible for cooking a minimum of 10 pounds of chili.
  • Maximum 5 members per team.  Team members wishing to take part in the chili tasting must purchase tickets (discounted rate of $5 per ticket for team members).
  • You will be supplied with an 8 foot table (4 feet of space behind it).  All tasting supplies, portion cups, spoons, etc. are supplied.

Entry Fee: $75 for commercial entries

  • 1st Place Judged and People's Choice winners receive a plaque.
  • Permitted to display signage, and handout literature, etc. at your table

Please note that to comply with local health regulations The Region of Durham Health Department requires all food to be prepared in an approved commercial kitchen.

Space is limited and entries will be accepted on a first registered basis.


Entries are not guaranteed until payment has been received in full.  Payment for registrations may be made by cash, cheque, PayPal or credit card.


Once you complete and submit the entry form we will contact you to verify your entry and make payment arrangements.
